Construction Site Traffic Management Plan (CSTMP)

Construction Site Traffic Management Plan (CSTMP)

The Construction Site Traffic Management Plan or CSTMP has been developed to help the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) and contractors to identify hazards and apply appropriate controls so that the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on a construction site are managed and coordinated.

A construction site traffic management plan (CSTMP) has been developed to assist the PSCS / small contractors in developing a traffic management plan for work on construction sites (not live roads). The plan was written to take into account NALA guidelines and comprises of 2 elements of work:

Part A – Guidance document which gives an introduction and summary of the 6 sections – Information, Training, Temporary Works, Hazards, Controls and Resources (PDF, 0.4MB)

Part B – Contains the 6 sections which is an online fillable form (PDF 1.0MB)

The use of the Adobe forms will make it very easy for users to fill in online using portable electronic devices, pc etc. to download, save and share between stakeholders and will ultimately give a strong foundation for contractors to improve the management of work related vehicles and pedestrians on site and aid in the implementation of the Authority’s strategy on work related vehicles.
